Parcours Professionnel :
J’ai débuté mon cursus médical à la Faculté de Médecine Joseph Fourier à Grenoble, puis j’ai effectué mon Internat au CHU de Besançon, avec les Pr Delbosc, Pr Montard et Pr Saleh. J’ai ensuite été Assistant Spécialiste à la Fondation Adolphe de Rothschild à Paris et chirurgien à l’Institut Laser Vision Noémie de Rothschild, dans le service de Chirurgie Réfractive et du Segment Antérieur du Dr Gatinel, où j’ai intensifié mon activité de recherche et me suis particulièrement intéressé au domaine du calcul d’implant intra-oculaire.
J’ai ensuite créé le Cabinet d’Ophtalmologie de Moorea, et co-fondé avec le Dr Thomas Fallevoz le Centre Laser Vision Tahiti, afin de pouvoir proposer une prise en charge en chirurgie réfractive 100% laser en Polynésie.
Parcours Scientifique :
J’ai participé à la publication de 38 articles scientifiques dans des revues nationales (2) et internationales (36). Je suis auteur de 4 chapitres de livres, principalement relatifs au domaine du calcul des implants intra-oculaire utilisés en chirurgie de cataracte. J’ai effectué 23 communications orales lors de congrès nationaux ou internationaux. J’ai reçu 5 prix lors de ces congrès internationaux et 2 prix lors du congrès national de la SAFIR (Société de l’Association Française des Implants et de la Chirurgie Réfractive), et j’ai été co-récipiendaire d’une bourse de recherche de la SAFIR en 2018 pour le développement d’une formule de calcul d’implant utilisant l’intelligence artificielle.
Je suis co-inventeur, avec les Dr Damien Gatinel et Dr Alain Saad, de la formule de calcul d’implant PEARL-DGS, qui a été intégrée sur le calculateur en ligne de l’European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery en 2022. J’ai été reviewer pour différentes revues scientifiques, dont Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Eye, Acta Ophthalmologica, Translational Vision Science & Technology, British Journal of Ophthalmology, Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Science, Computers in Biology and Medicine, et j’ai été cité comme « Exceptional Reviewer » en 2022 par la revue TVST.
